A lady distinguished as Joy Osain supposedly ended it all on Boxing Day in Agbura people group of Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

The expired who got into a battle with her beau, Augustus Eze after she got him with another lady when she visited his home upon the arrival of the occurrence, purportedly promised to slaughter herself as opposed to kick back and watch another lady grab her man from her.

It was assembled that Joy satisfied her risk by taking a toxic substance that murdered her. While her body has been recouped by the police and kept at the Federal Medical Center Yenagoa for post-mortem, Eze's home was demolished by furious individuals from Joy's family.

The perished's sweetheart is as of now being kept and addressed by the police.

Relating how the episode happened, an observer said;

"The young lady was an indigene of Agbura while the person is from Azikoro people group both in Yenagoa LGA. She was a natural product vender at Azikoro.

"Her beau maintained a strategic distance from her on Christmas day. She went to hold up before his entryway on 26th of December yet observed another young lady in his home.

"She lost control and battled with him. He supposedly beat her. Yet, the young lady continued saying she would not be alive and watch another young lady take her man. We didn't realize she would not joke about this. She was said to have swallowed expert sharpshooter and passed on".

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr Asimni Buswait who affirmed the occurrence said;

"On 26/12/2019 at about 22:30, one Eze Augustus 'M" 28years of Azikoro Village, Yenagoa, announced at the police division that his sweetheart, one Joy Osain 'F" of Agbura people group age 28years has flushed expert sharpshooter and kicked the bucket.

"The carcass of the expired was recouped and kept at the Federal Medical Center Yenagoa for dissection.

"The said Eze Augustus has been kept for additional cross examination. Examination is progressing".
