According to Hon Shobowale ADC has attained a formidable stature as a National  Political Party with deep roots in Ogun State as shown by the party's brilliant performance at the 2019 general election where four Party flag bearers won State and Federal Seats.

"ADC is today a big political family with a strong appeal to Women & the Youth, our logo is the HANDSHAKE is a welcome to all. We will be steadfast and continue with mobilise more members into the fold towards a successful outing in the forthcoming local government elections whenever it's called  and at general elections to come.

We are here to stay and poised to wrestle power for the benefit of all the good people of Ogun State. At 8 months old we showed what we are made of, in 2023 Ogun People will give us the mandate to rule" he declared.

On the issue of a rumour flying around that ADC has merged with APC ,the chairman had this to say;  " a few nomadic politicians who benefitted from our openness & inclusiveness    departed true to their character and tried to trade with our name within the APC fold.

Every former member of ADC who ventured out into such alliance,  speaks not for the ADC".

Hon.Shobowale  assured members that victory awaits the party in Ogun State provided we all keep true to the vision of Openness and Internal Democracy.

While wishing his party members a merry Christmas and prosperous Happy New year in advance, he called on them to celebrate with modesty and adhere strictly to the  Covid-19 rules not minding it's temporary difficulties.
