NUC Approves four part-time programmes at Caleb University

Caleb University Imota, Lagos State, has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to run four Part - Time programmes.

SalientTimes report that the programmes  are:
B.Sc.Political Science;
B.Sc.International Relations; and
B.Sc.Crirninology and Security Studies. 

In a Press statement made available to newsmen by Olawale Adekoya Information, Media and Publication Specialist on behalf of Caleb University, said the approval was conveyed in a letter signed by the NUC Director of Academic Planning, Dr Noel.B. Saliu,

"This was contained in a circular signed by Dr N.B Saliu, NUC Director of Academic Planning, and addressed to the University’s Vice -Chancellor, Prof. Nosa Owens-Ibie.

” I am directed to inform the Vice-Chancellor that the Executive Secretary has considered and approved the establishment of the following part-time undergraduate degree programmes.

“The programmes are to be run in the main campus of the university only, effective from the 2020/2021 academic session".

Caleb University recently got the approval by the NUC, of its 'Magodo Take Off Site' as a 'City Campus'; in addition to an approval to commence a Bachelor of Law degree programme.
