Senator representing Ogun Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly and Former Ogun State Governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun on Monday paid a condolence visits to his Successor, Prince Dapo Abiodun at the Iperu Remo family house over the passage of his father, Pa Emmanuel Abiodun who died recently at 89.

Amosun and his entourage who arrived Abiodun’s family house around 10:38, spent about five minutes with his host after signing the condolence register.

Amosun’s visit came after he was dragged by Abiodun’s supporters on the Social Media for not visiting his successor 14 days after the death of his father.

The former governor came in company of Hon Mickey Kazeem, former House of Representatives member representing Abeokuta North/Obafemi-Owode/Odeda federal constituency among other political associates.

Amosun after signing the condolence register went inside the house to greet Abiodun’s family after which he left immediately.

The former Governor wrote in the condolence register: “Adieu Baba – may the good Lord grant you eternal rest. Adieu”.
It will be recalled that Amosun and Abiodun who used to be good friends and political associates had parted ways owing to Amosun’s rock solid opposition to the the desire of Abiodun to take over from him as the next governor of the state.
