100 days in office: Hon Delano reiterates her administration's readiness to deliver dividends of democracy to the grassroot

The Executive Chairman of Ifo Local Government, Hon Chief (Mrs) Kikelomo Delano has commended the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for steering the ship of Ogun State in a versatile journey to greatness. 

In a release signed by Tititlayo Ayanwale, Information Officer, Ifo Local government, reported that the Executive Chairman gave the commendation while delivering her address at the event of the grand finale of 100 days in office at the council's secretariat, Ifo. 

Hon Delano expressed appreciation of the people of the council area to Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR for the tremendous achievements following the "Ise ya " mantra could not be over emphasised. 

The Local Government boss, equally extended her appreciation to the Deputy Governor, Engr.(Mrs) Noimot Salako Oyedele, other members of the Executive Council and the son of the soil , the speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt.(Hon) Taiwo Olakunle Oluomo and other Honourable members of the legislative council, Political leaders, traditional rulers and the good people of Ifo Local Government for standing by the young administration. 

Speaking further, Hon.chief (Mrs) Kikelomo Delano reiterated the administration preparedness to give utmost priority to serving selflessly by delivering dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroot, stressing that though the financial resources were not readily available much but her administration would make prudent its watch word to be able to satisfy the yearnings of the people. 

The number 1 citizen of Ifo Local Government disclosed some of the achievements of the administration, ranging from Infrastructural development to medical and health, agriculture, education, social welfare and community relations. 

Meanwhile, as part of the activities to mark the 100 days in office, the Executive Chairman :

*Commissioned 17 lock-up shops out of on-going construction of 90 lock-up shops at the borders of the local Government secretariat through Build, Operate and Transfer. 
*Empowerment of 35 aged men and women drawn from the 11 wards of the local government. 

*A bore hole project at Oke-Nla in Orisunbare was equally commissioned. 
*The event also witnessed the sod turning of the Event hall and Divisional Office of the Federal Road Safety Corp within the local government. 
*Free medical programme for the people. 

While delivering good will messages at the event, one of the party stalwarts (APC) in Ifo Local government, Alhaji Adebesin, Rt.Hon Speaker Taiwo Oluomo who was represented by Ogbeni Kola Isola and Barr. Olumide Oduwole, the Local Government APC Chairman, all speaking enthusiastically appreciated the chairman and her team for the unprecedented achievements recorded within 100 days in office of the young administration, hoping that this is just a tip of the ice berg and prayed for more enablement for the chairman in her quest to move Ifo Local Government to an enviable height. 

Dignitaries present at the colourful ceremony were :Political leaders, APC members, local government and ward executive, council of baales, NCWS, heads of security agencies and parastatals in the local government, youth council and both the executive and members of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees.
